Project Overview

Location: Old Farm neighborhood in Naperville, IL

Description: For this project, we removed two existing sliding patio door assemblies and replaced them with new Midway vinyl sliding doors featuring Foam-in-Frame insulation. To ensure a high-quality, weather-tight installation, we inspected the rough openings for damage, applied flashing tape to the perimeters, and secured the new frames with exterior-rated screws and OSI QUAD expandable foam. The project was finished with new interior casing, including quarter-round molding at the base, and exterior wood casing wrapped in Norandex Royal Brown aluminum trim coil. All transitions were sealed with color-matched OSI QUAD caulk, and aluminum z-flashing was installed above the doorways to provide durable weather protection and proper water drainage.
