Project Overview
Location: Burr Ridge, IL
Services: Siding, Roof, Gutter
Description: In this project, we replaced the existing roof with architectural asphalt shingles in “Moire Black,” complete with synthetic underlayment, perimeter ice and water shield, and updated flashing components. The old aluminum siding was removed and replaced with engineered wood siding in “Quarry Gray,” combining 8″ lap siding with accent board-and-batten profiles on the left elevation gables and front bump-out, all paired with contrasting white engineered wood trim. During installation, we rebuilt the rear window’s rough opening to repair significant rot caused by improper original flashing—which we thoroughly corrected with new custom coil and butyl tape—and squared off the angled garage door corners to modernize the home’s front facade. Additionally, we upgraded the drainage system by swapping out the old 5″ gutters for 6″ seamless white aluminum gutters and oversized downspouts. These enhancements dramatically modernized the exterior while ensuring lasting weather protection and durability.
