Description: Diamond Standard Exteriors provided a comprehensive exterior renovation for a property in McCarty Burlington neighborhood, which included the removal and disposal of approximately 3,375 square feet of existing fiber-backed aluminum and vinyl siding, followed by the installation of Mastic Carvedwood Double 5″ horizontal lap siding in Colonial Yellow over new fanfold foam insulation and Tyvek housewrap. The scope of work encompassed the installation of white vinyl corner posts, gable vents, and hooded dryer exhausts, as well as the replacement of approximately 135 feet of “K”-style seamless aluminum gutters and 90 feet of rectangular downspouts in white. Additionally, the team performed extensive trim work, featuring custom-formed white aluminum capping for 28 window casings and two door openings, repairing damaged fascia, and refinishing the front porch beam with smooth aluminum trim. Technical preparations involved coordinating with ComEd for power line safety sleeves and ensuring the exposure of two previously covered half-circle transom windows to restore the home’s architectural detail.
